About Northeast Collaborate
Northeast Collaborate is a network of churches, ministries, and individual Christians who live, work, and serve in the Northeast quadrant of the city of Calgary. More specifically, we are focused in the region east of Metis Trail and north of Memorial Drive.
Our goal is, working together, to see God's Kingdom come and His will be done in Northeast Calgary. This includes Gospel collaboration across denominations, ethnicities, philosophies of ministry, and languages, so that the Body of Christ in Northeast Calgary is a true representation of all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages (Revelation 7), as well as every spiritual gift that is needed to build up Christ's Body (1 Corinthians 12) and expand Christ's Kingdom (Matthew 28:16-20).

What We Do
Quite simply, we do together whatever we can in the name of the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Prayer
This includes praying together each week. Currently, this takes place on Zoom every Thursday from 10-11 am. Text 403-620-1882 to get the Zoom ID number to join us!
Gathering
We also gather together approximately once a month (usually the last Friday of the month at 7:00 pm) at the Encompass Partnerships building (3851 54 Ave NE). During these gathering times, we sing together, pray together, share encouraging stories of God at work, and either study God's Word or participate in a workshop led by one of our network pastors/ministry leaders.
Service
We love one another, that the world recognize Jesus in us (John 17). We care for one another and one another's ministries and congregations in both practical and spiritual ways.
Worship
Typically, we have at least two joint Sunday worship services per year, around Christmas and Easter time. These services are often in multiple languages and represent a variety of cultural expressions of the Gospel.
Ministry
We serve in another's ministry contexts together! Over the course of our existence, churches have merged together in cooperation, have served one another in providing translation or assisting with youth ministry, and have joined together to reach one another's communities! This is one of the most beautiful expressions of Gospel collaboration, and we rejoice in it!
A Common Strategy
We are not here to build our own kingdoms. We desire to see all of Northeast Calgary have the opportunity to meaningfully and regularly engage with the Good News of Jesus Christ. To this end, we are collaborating on a common vision and strategy for reaching this part of our city together.
